BECKY WINS KEIRIN SILVER

Welsh sprint star Becky James celebrated an Olympic keirin silver medal in Rio.

It was a stunning silver for the Abergavenny ace who has been beset by injury and illness, including a cancer scare, over the last couple of years.

The 2013 world keirin champion recovered in time for her first Olympics after winning a world bronze in London in March and peaked for Brazil.
