Abergavenny RC is a rapidly expanding club. You may pass a fellow member on the road or trails, give a nod of recognition to the jersey but not have a clue about the individual wearing it. Here, we introduce a club member and ask them a few probing questions.

Only 10 months.
Favourite discipline?
Cyclocross.
What do you like about cycling?
Off road: pushing myself to the very limits by getting to the top of mountains and back on and with my bike, tackling increasingly more difficult terrain. On road: the challenge to get faster, even at my advanced age.
Best cycling moment?
Storming down Pen-y-Ghent on my way to finishing Three Peaks Cyclocross event.
Favourite music?
Anything by J.S. Bach on the classical front, when it comes to pop, I currently like Anouk and XX.
Favourite food and drink?
South Indian vegetarian food and a good glass of red wine.
