Abergavenny RC is a rapidly expanding club. You may pass a fellow member on the road or trails, give a nod of recognition to the jersey but not have a clue about the individual wearing it. Here, we introduce a club member and ask them a few probing questions.

Number of years riding?
21 - started in 1988 after watching the Abergavenny Criteriums.
Favourite discipline?
Road - specifically criteriums and particularly the traditional city/town centre versions.
What do you like about cycling?
The high that comes with what's descibed as a 'float' day - nothing hurts!
Best cycling moment?
Climbing Mont Ventoux in 2007, stopping at the Tom Simpson memorial.
Favourite music?
U2, Marillion.
Favourite food and drink?
Italian with a nice quality (usually French) red wine.
